  • DESCRIPTION

    Design Engineers coordinate with the Sales and Manufacturing departments to support projects in the design and production of foundry and aerospace tooling. Winona Pattern & Mold has multiple levels of Design Engineers established; depending on experience, the Design Engineer role may range from contributing as a part of a project team to fulfilling a leadership role in managing and mentoring a tooling program.     JOB DUTIES

    • Develops detailed designs and drawings for Winona Pattern & Mold projects to 'Statement of Work' specifications independently or as part of a team.
    • Communicates and consults with the Sales, Manufacturing, and Quality Departments.
    • Provides direction to shop employees working out on the production floor when necessary.
    • Reviews project instructions and blueprints to obtain specifications, procedures, and objectives.
    • Behavior: The employee must work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines. The employee shall, at all times, demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors.
  • DESCRIPTION

    Setup Vertical CNC Machining Centers for unique (1 of a kind) parts.

    JOB DUTIES

    • Setup raw material in machines, locate and touch off tools, check tools for run out, down load programs from server, re-bur and inspect in process and final product, fill out run sheets.
    • Knowledge in use of computers, measuring tool (micrometers, calipers, indicators), basic machining skills.

  • DESCRIPTION

    The Patternmaker manages the production processes and the crews associated with constructing specialized tooling for the foundry and aerospace indsutries. This includes: permanent molds, wood patterns, composite and metal laminating mandrels, and fixturing
